Ok, so i'm tryin to do my kleen air mod on my 03 636, yes another kleen air question....sorry guys but i need the help. I bought this bike from a guy that i can't get ahold of now to ask him what it is. It's a black box on the left side of my bike and it has 2 hoses and one other hole that's capped off. The capped off one says vent about it, and the other 2 hoses say SEP. and Purge.....and then one of the hoses runs up to where my T valve would be for the kleen air. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS THING???? and can i just take this bitch off. I don't know if this helps or not but i'm pretty sure its a CA bike. If i have to keep it, how can i work around this to do the kleen air. Thanx for all the input and advice in advance. OMR, i know you got somethin on this bro, help me out

P.S.---i've searched kleen air and pair mod and looked thru all the pages already and still couldn't find shit on this and how to do it correctly

*First thing call CHP and make an appointment for a VIN inspection* Could be up to two weeks to make an appointment.

Before you go into the DMV you need receipts or proof of purchase for your frame and motor. Contact information of the people who sold you the parts. Street legal your bike out all the way down to license plate light. Go to the DMV and tell them that you replaced your frame and you need to get all the paperwork for a special construction motorcycle. This is the part that screwed me over you have to get the correct paperwork which is these 3 forms:

Application for vin plate form # REG 124

Statement of Construction & App for title and registration

Make another appointment with the DMV for the day after your CHP inspection.

After you get these 3 forms you have to go to CHP for vin inspection. This is where it can be a pain. They will want to see proof of all purchases for the bike. Want to know what happened to your old frame and where it is. Also the same type of questions about your motor. They will check your miles, run the numbers to make sure every things clean and hopefully come out with a tool box.

Back to DMV with form REG 124 filled out by the CHP inspection officer. Take all 3 forms back to DMV. Pay fee's get your plate. You may or may
not have to also get a brake light inspection. My bike was already registered so it wasn't a problem. If you do just pop in a stock brake light for temp. I used all the stock turn signals as well for my inspection.

Call your insurance and hope they cover special construction bikes. Give them the new information and pray. If they don't I know AAA and Liberty Mutual do. Good luck.
