\r\n \r\n i have had rangers, nissan hardbodys, and s10s....but i would go with the old taco for sure, but its hard to beat an old hardbody, they just got ugly after 2000. 2004 tacoma would be ideal for me, for gas, power, and longevity. not to mention resale value that wont die.\r\n

\r\n \r\n the s10 is going to prob be the best cheap buy. they were fairly reliable and parts are dirt cheap. but i would go with a toyota t100, prerunner, xrunner or something but gunna cont you way more\r\n

\r\n \r\n How long a truck will last is more dependent on your driving. Although most modern vehicles will last far longer than it would take to become tired of it.\r\n

is it ture that the more cylinders you have in a truck, the longer it will last bc each cylinder is doing less work?
