i have a 95 ranger with the 2.3L, 4 cylinder. i beat on it the the last 8 years, and its almost at 200,000. only thing i had to replace was a belt, couple hoses, and a clutch ( clutch at 168,000 ).\r\n

98 ranger 2.3L 4 cylinder, 178k miles, only replaced a timing belt (another awesome part of this motor, non interferance motor!!!) and the standard maintence... hauled 2 bikes, gear, luggage, and 6 spare tires on a 750 miles round trip averaging 27mpg at an average speed of 75!!!!\r\n
