03-04 636 Neutral Safety Switch Mod

Whats the idea of the stand switch on the 636? Ive pulled mine apart before even riding it as bought it accident damaged and want to simplify it as much as possible.

Want to get rid of this switch and wiring...

Thanks for that. I was curious how to get it to start up in first without that whole wire harness. I used a staple as mentioned by duane.

do you actually cut the wire that you are grounding out to the stator bolt? jus wanna make sure i do it correctly...

I did this on my brothers 600rr. Just pull that wire out and then you can just put a wire inside of the plug, and then ground it somewhere.
No need to cut anything.

Which way are you talking about OMR???? and is this the same as the 05 636??? what wires are crossed at the harness? my harness is busted and I only have colored wires hanging out.

by ''other way'' i meant the jumping the clutch switch wires and i dont have a clue what color the wires are at the harness sorry
