not sure if you had any when this happened but frame sliders take alot of the impact off the frame/motor..thats why i liking these spring loaded cages ideas

how hard or ez of a drop was it? wanna say austin913 was running a TS cage too when he did same thing to his head...

Either a TS or an RK Armor.... dont remember..

i guess i lucked out i busted my rightside frame tab but the bolt was still in tacted the only thing was that just the peice went around the part were the bolt slides into is gone lol and i pancaked it pretty hard

I did it on my zx-6rr motor i swaped the motor put a 636 in. And one of my boys did it he gave me the motor im keepin it as a back up good bottom end

yea i always run sliders with springs and rubber insert.

It was a pretty decent drop.. but nothin like it hasnt had before. I actually didnt even notice it until about 15 mins after when i seen oil smoking off my headers. lucky it didnt light up!

And by u guys saying get another motor do u mean get another head? like this ?

if its only the head thats messed up. then just get that part so you can save some $$...

im lazy and changing the whole motor is easier than changing the head ...lol

Yep, I busted mine up like that last year. When I pulled the head off, it fell apart into 6 pieces. I just put a new head on. Waiting for a steel half frame before I put it all back together.

Ive pancaked, and generally tossed around, my F4i alot more violently than what happened on the 636... And the f4i is still in one piece.

I had a Tygershark cage on the 636 when I broke my cyl head.
