yeah you wont pass tech unless your clip style link is wired up. I'm guessing you were a lot porter, judging from the way you cant even write a sentence. You have your head so far up your ass. Hey Mr "General Manager"... say one of your guys installed a clip-link on a chain, it falls off inbetween services...You gonna pony up to replace all the damaged stuff/medical bills IF the guy gets hurt? FUCK NO

So what makes a clip link more likely to fall off, than that of a rivet link if both installed properly?

Man alot of BS over a damn master link... Seriously agree to disagree. Use whatever you want. I won't use clip styles just because I'm a paranoid fuck. After seeing that one chain destroy the lower case on a guy's 1000rr I knew I was like "Yea, fuck a bunch of that noise.". Was it installed properly? Hell if I know. He worked for Family powersports in Lubbock wrenching mostly on Hondas so I would assume he would know how to install one, but you never know. A lot of idiots working in stealerships and he defintely was one of those "I'm a complete fucking moron that somehow knows everything about everything".

Can we make a poll like I used to see on stuntlife? I'd vote clip. I use them on all three of my bikes and always have. Never had a problem.
