Buell continues

hopefully if he continues to have racing success he will be able to get backing from someone other than harley.the dude is an absolute genius when it comes to suspension and handling he just didnt have options when he came into this none of the major street bike companies would sell him motors and harley took the opportunity, too bad for him the v twin isnt really a great design but he managed to make it work for him finally with the 1125R. i would like to see him come out with a four cylinder and see what he can do with a good power plant.

im sure they will start building street legal bikes again at some point. right now harley owns most of the patents for all the more recent buell bikes so they cant use those parts without some sort of legal issue with harley. its sad too because right before harley killed the company, they were almost done with the new barracuda 2 which woulda been a damn nice bike.

I saw him (Buell) loop a wheelie at Pocono on some kind of promotional lap for a racing series (I think it was F-USA) or his company when he first started out many years ago. It was funny.
