MSR Vs. RSC......What's ur vote?

I like my Msr. I have tried the rsc and found that its not for me. I can see why so many people rave about the rsc. If you don't like it send it back. There are shortcomings in both designs. Its like Ford vs Chevy

mine did too RSC ft(mufuggin)w and no way msr should even be compared to RSC. MSR made my bike shift like poop sometimes bcuz it was sloppy. New joint = HOTNESS

best reply on here.

i've had same drag and engagement issues but i love the quality. currently trying to new bushing as well as the clutch arm mod.

josh has been very helpful and accomodating during all of this.

will post up my results when its done, hoepfully next week.

the clutch arm mod and any easy pull lever do the same thing..

by increasing leverage you also increase the distance the level will need to move to disengage the clutch so if you are having an issue with the clutch disengaging you dont want to increase the length of you clutch release lever..

the rsc is the best easy pull on the market and teach there are two m's in accommodating

He even admitted that he gave it more leverage and in this situation, when you give more leverage, you are take away overall cable pull, another reason why the clutch grabs at a different spot and drags. Its your call. The MSR works fine, personally I would stick with that, shim the lever in the purch to take some of the slop out, or if you know someone at a machine shop, give them an MSR and have them make an exact replica but with a bronze or delrin bushing. I only replaced my MSR because I wanted a precision lever. I was using the same MSR for almost 3 years and never broke one. Another alternative is get the MSR AOF lever, its a way better quality lever than the EZpull, but then you have to do the clutch arm mod. You can do it on hondas, not sure about the other bikes like kawi.

you just don't know how adjust your clutch bud.. my friends was the same as your cause he didn't know better.

i seen a few people that had the clutch mod done to their bike and didnt know it because they got the bike already set up , could be the case with that guy
