Nick, this was from someone informing me on RSC. It was interesting.
Its a great lever but its still got some flaws that need to be worked out. I spent $100 on a lever that was not designed to accommodate everyone such as people with longer fingers and now I am supposed to spend $15 on a spacer???? I made my own spacer and I am still having issues. The clutch does not fully disengage, its dragging slightly when I do coasters, when i pull the clutch in the front end comes down. I have adjusted the cable AS BEST as possible, now my clutch slips when I drive on the road(still drags when its in). My first complaint was when I adjusted the cable the way a clutch cable is supposed to be adjusted (1/8-1/4" free play) the clutch would start to grab 1/8" from the bar. This sucks for double fingering the clutch and brake and when your finger gets tired, you physically cant pull the clutch all the way to the point where it disengages. apparently this is only an issue with some bikes, I dont see how thats possible, both the RSC's we bought are like that. If you read the RK ARMOR hate thread, there are some other people complaining. Again, I cant bash it, its a wonderful lever, but the geometry still needs some tweaking, no big deal, but he doesnt want to do that. He even admitted that he gave it more leverage and in this situation, when you give more leverage, you are take away overall cable pull, another reason why the clutch grabs at a different spot and drags. Its your call. The MSR works fine, personally I would stick with that, shim the lever in the purch to take some of the slop out, or if you know someone at a machine shop, give them an MSR and have them make an exact replica but with a bronze or delrin bushing. I only replaced my MSR because I wanted a precision lever. I was using the same MSR for almost 3 years and never broke one. Another alternative is get the MSR AOF lever, its a way better quality lever than the EZpull, but then you have to do the clutch arm mod. You can do it on hondas, not sure about the other bikes like kawi.

the RSC is better than the MSR and moose EZ pull in everyway
just search on this forum and others, you will find that the majority say the same thing. and much smaller percentage will say theres problems with it.

I've had both levers. The msr worked fine until it got very sloppy and loose. The adjuster always stripped out as well as the pull angle adjuster. I was pissed when that broke while attempting to install it.
Anyways ive run just about every type of clutch lever, given I am far from a pro rider I still prefer the RSC.the adjuster is awesome and there is very little if any slop between the lever and perch. And its even got a nice little hooked edge so your finger doesn't slip off the end.
Big Rik, I had the same problem at first but after I adjusted the cable it was fine. Ive got a clutch arm modded f4i. You didn't mention what you ride. Why don't you share?
