Yeah that's what I'm thinking like its strong but just not as strong as you would think deff Gota get a good rotor and new pads and I know she will bite it's pretty sting and my rotor has waves in it lol

If your rotor feels like a scallop shell the pads are not going to contact it all the way until you break them in completely. Idling the wheel on the rear stand is inherently sketchy. Wave rotors can crack. For front rotors I try to be as resourceful as possible. Rear rotors I buy brand new. A Dedicated 4 piston to me feels awesome. I have never liked my idle above 2 grand or an aftermarket set of pads. Your pistons could have a bunch of crud on them. And, if one is seized the others get the energy. Book says to coat orings with brake fluid, I use silicone grease.

Yeah I'm Gona clean up the Pistons on the caliper and she bites good now just I like power I like to have more then when I need just in case I mess up its there to save the day lol but yeah I run my idle at a little above 3500 sometimes just under 4K like 3700 is where I learned

Well I fixed that bog lol it's way better after installing the Griffey star at 4 and I bumped the stock idle up a hair then set my 2nd idle and she's truck in now lol got left circles now and just started getting right circles now. You still ride that f4i?

Yeah I got a used rotor in good shape and bought a new set of pads to put in with the better rotor. Got a set of ebc HH pads

Take the rotor off and set it on a known flat surface, I would guess it has warped and is cone shaped, so the brake it prolly bending it straight and that's what feels soft, happens often, hard to see on the bike. slightly grooved rotor is OK once pads are broken in.
