If you don't know where the fuel pump relay is how can you say most likely not?

Try to find a good relay and swap it and go from there before you starting tearing into the harness/ignition looking for the problem, they are cheap and easy to replace so its a good starting point at least.

The relay I have is good. Tested by switching with start relay and tried one off a spare harness

I know worked but at one time I did have the same issue with it.

Think it was the same kind of deal I was stuffing wires into intake box and something shorted out. Same thing happened. Tire the harness down cleaned it up and it worked. Nvr really found out what is was for sure, but the new harness I have on the bike now was flawless.

What Year/Make/Model of bike do you have? Maybe try to Bypass the ignition key of if someone else local has a ignition/key they can let you try just to see if its that? trying to find a bad connection or loose plug prong in a harness is a nightmare.

Yea, I have thought about that as well. Also has some sort of charging issue. Tried the 9v but to no avail. So will have to try an ignition or check for something that I might have unplugged while messing with the fan.

so took my ignition apart found that the diode had fried anyone know what happens when/if pink wire gets more then 9v going to do the toggle switch mod and hope it works.

Cel made me a keyless ignition and used a 100 ohm resistor, pretty sure the f4i uses the same size resistor if your going to try to replace it. Bonus the gremlin wasn't hiding somewhere deep in the harness at least

Anything more than 9v and the bike wont start. Do the toggle switch mod or get a new ignition.

Going to get the resistors today. Yes good thing it wasn't deep. It was a brand new harness a few weeks ago and I like it that way.
