Possibly, or maybe you just need a little more. To be honest you really shouldn't have your preload tightened all the way down like you do.

Different setups for different technique. Having the thicker oil lets me have a super slow rebound so I don't get a bounce but I can turn my compression down enough to let the bike dive on my pick up.

to be honest i have no idea what I'm doing and just listened to other guys i was riding with at the time. i couldn't find any info about proper adjustment?

Damn, reading all this, i should try and experiment with the suspension a bit. I have preload all the way on hard too. I had 20w oil in before, that was stiff as a seaman's dick. Now having 15w is great.
