damn that suckss i hope my motor lasts on mine....i noticed a trail of oil residue making its way down my left side cover while riding yesterday..its leaking somewhere from up top so might need to do a valve cover gasket or something i hope thats all it is. probly gonna pull it back apart tommorow and check if i see anything

ya well mine had over 70k on it and i've been putting in work on streets over the last few months so bitch ran dry for a min. :/ hope yours is a quick fix man.

shit 70k thats not all too bad id say you got a good amount of use out of it! i checked mine out today i still dont know exactly where my leak is from. idk if its the VC gasket or if its oil residue from my crank case breather since i ran alittle extra oil in it and there IS oil residue in airbox and throttle bodies...supposidly 954 dont like extra oil like the f4is do...woops. the peice of foam thats glued to the side of the frame (circled in pic) is saturated with oil so whatever it is , is coming from that area. gonna do the clean air mod and see if it still leaks then ill know its the gasket.
![]() that being said, the bike still seems to run good cant wait for it to warm up so i can get back to work fully and stack some paper for more parts...and ride more! ![]()
