\r\n \r\n The older the engine the more likely valve stem seals will fail with conventional oil . So if you had a motor that was doing fine with synthetic and switch to conventional you may run into a problem\r\n

\r\n \r\n Penzoil will leave some very nasty build up in your engine after time, Idk how to spell it but perathane is wax and it is used in penzoil. Will definatly leave some nasty gunk in your motor.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Sry, I don\'t check new threads too often..lol I use valvoline or castrol only. One oil change isn\'t gonna hurt it. I had a 78 pontiac bonneville I bought from a doctor dude, one owner, had every record of every cent ever spent on it. Oil changed 3000 miles or less...penzoil. I spun a rod bearing, pulled the valve cover you could shovel the sludge w a spoon.....no joke it was like 3/4 inch thick. Never used penz since. Just check to see if it says perathane (sp) on the bottle, that means wax.\r\n

I just bought a 94 honda, mint with 196k and i need to know what oil to use. The women i bought it from doesnt know cause she took it to jiffy lube. So me thinkin high miles use synthetic?? BUT...if she was not usin synthetic, and i start..wont i fuck the motor up? She runs perfect and i just wanna do thing right

so what kind of oil and what weight? this is my first import ever, and actually non-v8 car
