Could have killed the cop if he got blasted w it but they should have just peper sprayed or tazed him when he came out of the store to drop him. world doesn\'t need ppl like that imo anyway so whatever. but that cop was on one like 20 shots later.\r\n

\r\n \r\n the cops are just doing their job. you know damn well if someone came into your place a business with a crowbar breaking windows and trying to hit people you\'d shoot him too. he deserved every shot he got. all he had to do was put down the weapon and not try and swing on the officers. that crowbar to the head is considered a deadly weapon and this is the reason he received deadly force. cops are not aloud to shoot you in the leg or knee they get sued for that. when cops shot it is to disarm the situation from happening any longer.\r\n

\r\n \r\n I think the cop was completely justified.....dude stepped up with a weapon.....game on.....and I\'ve always heard that cops are trained to empty a full magazine when they open fire.....so the number of shots didn\'t surprise me at all.....\r\n

\r\n \r\nCops are not above the law. They are supposed enforce it. Think about this...... \r\n \r\nIf a normal citizen was in the place of the cop and shot that guy in "self-defense" 5 times, then walked up and shot him another 5 times, he just went from self-defense to murder. No different then if someone breaks into you house, and you stab the guy 20 times. It would be considered excessive force. \r\n \r\nSo why should a cop get away with it? After the first 5 shots, the guy was falling towards the ground and showed no signs of being a threat. Sure I agree with the first 5 shots but the 2nd set of 5 shots was overboard.\r\n
