\r\n \r\n He swung a CROWBAR at a cop. What, did he think they were gonna continue to ask him to drop it??? No.
\n
\nAll that FTP shit gets old. The police have the duty to protect the public as well as themselves. Man swinging crowbar at people and police= THREAT. The cops had to do what was neccesary to stop him.\r\n

\r\n \r\n I see nothing wrong there. The cop didn\'t start shooting til the dude got aggressive with his crowbar with that one cop. That cop tried to taze him unsuccessfully and didn\'t have his gun out in time to protect himself as the dude was coming at him, so the other cop started shooting to protect his boy.\r\n

You have a point, but it doesnt take 10 gunshots to stop someone. He dropped after the first 5, then they shot him 5 more times\r\n

\r\n \r\n Cops are permitted to use 1 level of force above what the suspect has..
\n
\nif he had his fist cops could have used their batons or a tazer
\nif he has an object that can be used as a projectile or as a club then they are permitted to use firearms if necessary
\n
\nI agree that the number of rounds might have been a bit excessive\r\n

\r\n \r\n subscribed to see others thoughts...i completely agree with johnny p.....police officers are trained to shoot multiple times....i understand that, i also am looking at a career in law enforcement, but the 2nd batch of 5 more rounds was alittle over the top considering this guy was down for the count. good find on the vid though.\r\n
