false, if u can clutch it up then u can do slow wheelies and big sprockets dont help with idle wheelies, seat time and practice does

Well thank you for clearing that up sir. What's the point of having a big sprocket then?

for me its just easier to clutch up with a bigger sprocket but staying at bp is just as hard either way, lots of people kill it on stock gearing, but ima stop postwhoring this thread....just go ride and over time ull get the hang of it

Ah, I see. Well I'll keep stock gearing until I'm ready to make this bike a dedicated lot bike, if that ever happens. I'll work on it every time I leave the house

Just gotta gas that thing with stock gearing.

I didn't read the whole thread but anyway if you're still tryin to do fis, staggered, whatever, go ahead and put pressure on the foot that will have your weight on it before you clutch the bike. Not actually helping bring the bike up but sets you up pretty good balance wise. Otherwise you'll have weight on the rearset or somewhere else makin that thing go all over the place while youre trying to find BP. Just helpin u skip a day or two of frustration...

Sprockets helped me be a lil more precise and be lazier with my throttle hand with idle clutch ups. Stock worked fine though. It really doesn't matter if you know how to work the tools your bike provides.

Staggereds= all weight on left leg, keep leg straight, hold on, smooth throttle, when you feel like its up high, go higher....

Boom, problem solved, I'll be sending a bill.

Now go to the lot and try. Doing it on the street gives you too much room. Give yourself a confined space and it will force you to clutch it up faster and not chase it. I went from reconcile to real circles by going to a small lot.

5-6 years is a long long time and possible moved from a light, nimble 125, to something bigger and heavier

The better question is how were you doing circles at red lights if you were chasing out wheelies???

As far as "riding long wheelies", I wouldn't call it that. I'd chase them, I wouldn't hit BP and just cruise on.
