\r\n \r\n Bought it brand new off the show room with in a month the motor was rattleing like crazy I didn\'t want to rebuild it so I sold it, didn\'t think it would last. Learned to do coaster for the first time on that bike with dirt tires. LOL\r\n

\nlike ross said, any bike is reliable if u take care of it...that pretty much goes for any and everything bike, car or whateva!!!

I read all day on thumpertalk.com and people have problems with all modern 4 stroke bikes
\n
\nAnd these are people who change their oil every 2-4 hours, and clean their air filter EVERY ride.
\n
\nYou are \'lucky\' to get 200 hours out of a motor, very lucky. People tend to get 30-60 hours out of a set of valves, and 100-120 out of a crank.
\n
\nOf course, these are racers, who are pushing their bikes a lot harder then a stunt rider generally.. Trail riders who ride casually will get a LOT more hours out of them.
\n
\nI\'d "LOVE" to have a modern 4 stroke race bike for trail riding, but I couldn\'t afford it. I\'ll easily put 20-30 hours+ on a bike in a month. Sometimes putting 10-15 in a single week. (Actual run time with an hour meter, not \'assumed\' time)
\nI can\'t afford replacing valves every 2-3 months.
\nI\'m awnting to pick up a used cr or yz250 here before long and build it to be a woods bike.\r\n

Honda's out the question already

Heard KTM and Yamaha are one of the best for a reliable setup. KTM is expensive as hell though. And i aint a teen with rich parents. I gotta pay for it. Price range is around $2500-3000 for me. So tell me your guys opinion.

Was either thinking WR450 or YZ450F. I heard WR feels like a pig though, but then again its already close to being setup for streets. And thats what I'm looking for. I've ridden my cousins YZ450 and it had gobs of power! Lots of fun!

I'm stuck on a choice. Anyone murderin the streets on a Kawi 450? Those are nice as hell!
