i had 2 weld a lip on my 05 636 tank caus ther so small and hard 2 stay in

Here's the other tank I was talking about. Chopped about 1.5 inchs out of airbox and slimme up the sides.

traditional style, did mine last night, came out good, not quite done obviously, sand, paint, htmoto, new vortex cap silver base, blue cap cuz mine busted inside during process.

i thought about that, never had a problem with any other r6 tank ive done but gotta flush it out so i can check all that out tonight anyhow, think your right tho cuz i pushed the front down to make it all flat and even, guess worse case ill be cuttin this bitch open, my brothers a welder so doin a full tank cut is possible just dont want to if i dont have to. to be determined

Well one of my lines is bent jut a tad not even closed all the way and if I don't open my cap every once and awhile my bike bogs down and runs like shit.....no offense but I know u will take it that way no matter what u always say how u have "never" had problems with this or that when everyone else does I don't think u ride near as hard or as much as some of us....don't say I'm wrong cause u have said numerous times u don't ride a lot of lot which means ur prolly not riding near as hard as some of us
