Now that custom tanks are the hot ticket, I feel like I should get some user input.

I personally know Ryan from Graveyard Customs, so this kinda sways towards the tanks he builds.

So for people that have had a tank made by Ryan, or any custom tank, what is your favorite "style" ??

Big lip?
Completely flat topped or a little contour?

What will be the best setup for a 6'1 rider tryin to pull through!!!

all personal preference and how much you wanna spend on um, i personalyl dont like flat tanks at all, gotta have contour to them. checkout dave cutler or c4 revolutions there doin stuff with tanks thatd light years ahead of what anyone else has ever done but there twice the money of graveyards also. cuttin tanks, stretchin material and forming with english wheel etc, just unbelievable shit but built to your exact needs or wants.

this is by far the nicest tank ive ever seen in my life. done by dave cutler and c4

its a work of beauty, he explained to me last night exactly how they make them and all the work that goes into um, deff top notch stuff, theres even a piece of aluminum bar inside the tank up top in rear where the lip gets bent around it for a perfect rolled lip so no sharp edges n such. think its about 5 bills for a tank made to that extent, but hes working on stuff for cheaper tanks in $200 range also for guys who want a nice tank but not pro status or fat wallets.

CELFLEX- I really appreciate the info, makes sense with the different styles and full fairing now.

I definitely want my lip pushed back, just to help my inflexible legs

I really dig you 636 tank, but that lip looks awful big, you get used to it? Ever bust your ass?!

Just out of curiosity why did you you put your swingarm and Subframe on before you put the frame on the motor. I always find it easier.to put the frame on the motor then go from.there. Seems kinda backwards the way you have it. ?

i cant stress enough how good the craftsmanship is on those tanks. but i fucking HATE how they look. and i cant imagine needing it either.

I just sent my tank to Graveyard today...still not really sure what I want either? Curious to see what people have to say.

I have a full fairing 03-04, 636...so I think I'll go with the Flat top, but not sure if I want the lip rounded like the pic of stubbz shown above or squared off like celflex's 675?

i agree 1000% hate the look but the work he does is awesome and for the price also. can only dream of a c4 tank tho, quality and work done is way farther ahead. problem is plenty of stunters will pay 2-300 for a custom tank but how many will pay 5, not very many thats for sure.
