i got a question, why do all adjustables brands of bar setups stick so far out in the front from the fork, these appear to be about an inch farther forward than they need to be, probly plenty comfy for lot riding but for streets theyd make ya stretch way out to reach them, just curious if there is a specific reason. im short armed and want some adjustables but i dont want to have to reach so far forward to reach them. im sure they could be moved to the back or sides but may be to wide by then, curious to see some pix of others mounted differently in different positions.

I'm not sure why the other companies do it....but here's my reason. The upper triple clamp on hondas is engineered in a way that the pinch bolt sticks out a bit over an inch in FRONT, over the forks. That extra distance that my lower clamp sticks out, allows for full adjustment around that pinch bolt.
![]() As stated, you could run a bit shorter bars....and turn them out a bit. Adjustables are crazy......mountng positions are damn near infinite.

probly way to wide at that point being that they'll be over an inch out the sides of the forks before the bars even start. guess ill have to play with them but i sat on timmys 09 zx6r with them straight forward and they were as high as they could be with the SI ones and i hated um, wayyy to far forward for me. guess ill have to tinker with them a bit is all.
