\r\n \r\n im not a big fan of f4i tails i have a 600rr tail on my bike and i love it ive had it on for a full season now and only has a couple small cracks\r\n

\r\n \r\n Thanks for the positive feedback! I started to build the subframe yesterday. I also made a shark fin and few other minor things.

\nExhaust can comes way too long from the side, I need to shorten that can littlebit and move it forward to get the proper angle and output.

\nChain cut off (I got longer chain already) and rear wheel installed to see the correct ride height. I think I got enough subframe material (and that\'s not all material I got in this pic)

\nSubframe\'s top needs to be narrowed to fit the front seat and the rear fairing\'s front section properly. Seat sits quite nice at the moment.

\nHere\'s the subframe without front seat. Subframe\'s rear section will be as wide as the lower tubes are at the moment.\r\n

Me too This is my second metal fabrication- and welding attempt (the first one was that white 900rr in this thread). Anyway, that metaltube thing is starting get the shape of a subframe. Seats and fairing sits on the frame pretty nicely.

\nPlenty of different mounts, supports and brackets to do... All joints need to be properly welded. Here\'s few pics of yesterday\'s progress:

\nThat frame isn\'t as long and high as it seems on the picture... My friend\'s bike is just in front of me when I\'m taking theese pictures -> that\'s why this stupid point of view everytime

\nIt\'s shape is quite close to original R6 subframe, as I have now compared (I didn\'t look any pictures of original R6 subframe before I started this subframe build).

\nThe rear view. Actually I noticed that my F4i\'s original subframe was bent quite noticeably, this one seems much more straight \r\n
