just pulled out my manual and it says for adjusting that, you have to hook up a volt meter and adjust it by hand until the voltage is within spec.....you can also check it from the ecu.
\n
\njust need to get my hands on a volt meter and someone that understands voltage a little more to help me.....i\'m terrible with electric

\r\n \r\n I tried this mod around 3 years ago and it robbed me on the low down. The throttle response was terrible. I am going to have to look in my manual and give the sync a try.\r\n

\r\n \r\n where was you idle set when you looked at them compared to the other bikes you looked at ?
\n
\ni dont know for sure but i would assume they would be open more if your idle is at 3500 rather than 1000..\r\n

i may be completely wrong they may go to the same position when you turn the bike off no matter what the idle is set at it was just a thought \r\n

\r\n \r\n I think idling the bike to wherever you set it at should only control the primary butterflies. i also have my idle turned down everytime i get off the bike.
\r\n
\r\n
\r\nmy theory of doing this adjusting is just another shot in the dark to try to figure out whats wrong with my bike.
\r\n
\r\nneal, the section in the manual is 3-95
\r\n
\r\nandy, yeah i know you told me, i just didnt want to have to do it lol\r\n

\r\n \r\n D Feel free to come by and try my ECU if you think that will make a difference... You cant have it... but atleast we will know if the ecu is off...
\n
\nOMR he compared my TB secondary butterfly position while both bikes were off.... His had about a 3MM gap and mine were closed all the way... My bike pulls like a champ, his doesnt pull good at all.
\n
\nWe have compared almost everything else on the bike and i know he has tried various other fixes.. Fuel pump, Air filters, Gearing.... You name it nothing has fixed his idle pull. the bike has a very fresh motor on it, and it should pull great!\r\n
