Who needs handleing with all that power!!!! JK i dont know. I think ppl that say raptors dont handle must not ride hard enough.. We made a KILLER trail track at my place... We\'re talking only inches of clearance between trees and hugh sandstone rocks.. And FLYING through those trails.. We had a yzf, 400ex, 450r, and ltz out there and NOT ONE of them would come close to touching the raptor.. Even let the other riders ride it through and they said it was way better than all the quads there.. The only flaw I found with my 660 was that dam STARTER CLUTCH!!! That thing is TRASH!!!

well I didn\'t say I couldn\'t make one handle lol they are a more top heavy quad and thats why I didn\'t like them as well but the 660 was never ment to be a race quad anyway the mx race quads are what I really like to play on but just like bikes I like them all in there own way and will ride any of them\r\n

\r\n \r\n True true.. Way top heavy.. But if ridden the right way you can make anything hook up... I just loved the raw power of that quad.. Its insane.. To this day have not seen another one that would do what that thing did.. I miss it...:Sad.bye:\r\n

lol, I repeated myself, lol.
\nthe 450\'s are fast out of the box, but the 400\'s are better for slow stuff. I say why bother making things more difficult. The throttle is more touchy, and the gearing is much faster, and the engine brake is almost non existent on a 450. I couldn\'t do some of the stuff I do on my 400EX on the 450, cause I would injure myself much more easily, not saying its not possible, just more difficult and dangerous, so for a straight up stunt quad, I\'ll be getting the new fuel injected 09 Suzuki Z400 this spring. The 450\'s & up are killer fast, but all that power and gearing on a quad just makes thinks more difficult for slow stuff. I could never do a no handed highchair on a 450, cause their is practically no engine brake geared stock, & the\'re so fast I would probably break my neck if I looped it.
\nthis is my 400EX with a wiseco 440 big bore kit, I cant do this trick on a 450 with stock gearing, I\'ve tried, I would have to regear it, and even if that was done, it would probably be even more twitchy on the gas than it already is.
\nthose machines are damn fast, and in a race the 400\'s cant touch em, but for slow stunt stuff I think people will progress faster on a 400, just my opinion though.

\r\n \r\n What all stunts are you guys doing on quads??? I dont wanna get all into quads over my bike but I get bored and quads are fun.. But I find them rather bland really.. cant think of anything else to do?? No handers, sit down no handers, high chairs, give me some ideas....\r\n \r\n
\r\n
just be inventive, there is lots of stuff to do...
\n
\nno handed highchair..
\n
\n
\none foot, no hands...
\n
\n
\nI call this one, the "fatty arbuckle" lol, but its like an ape hanger, except you roll the wheelie right at engine brake point.
\n
\n
\nno hands or feet...
\n
\n
\nfoot over the headlight, one hand, kinda boring I know, lol
\n
\n
\nI\'ve been working on trying to do a switchback, during the wheelie, then keep it going while standing backwards, but still can only get it about 1 out of every 20 tries or so.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Thats sick.. My little quad has no ability to compare to that... I\'ll see what I can do..\r\n

\r\n \r\n Puttin it up on the side wheels and doin combos is sick And I ride my dad\'s 400ex too. It\'s WAY easier to kill slow stuff on. I agree. But I\'ll get everything I can on the 450. Like I said, it\'s more my dune toy anyways. I need to check those pics. I cant see em at work\r\n

\r\n \r\n yea the 400\'s are the best stunt quads I can do somethings on a 400 that I wouldn\'t care to try on an 450 too cos I know I\'d probably crash\r\n

yeah I run a handbrake on the right side, under the front brake, take a close look at this pic, I like it that way cause I can use just my right hand for the throttle and brake.
\nI actually like it better than using my left hand for the clutch and brake.
\nanyway I do it this way with way on the quad, cause my idle is stock, for engine brake tricks.
\nIts a standard clutch lever, and I ran a cable to the mechanical parking brake lever on the caliper. (before doing that I disassembled the lever from the caliper and put highspeed bearing grease in to make it smooth)
\nIts not near as strong as a typical handbrake setup, but it will keep you from flipping if you float past engine brake point, which is all I needed.
