i also had an f4 which was running like shit, i didnt have fairings so it was sucking too much air, tried to power tape the airbox a bit, didnt help ... when i was doing some stoppies the engine was getting shut off, it was hard to wheelie from slow speeds as it was choking

switched to injection and caught idle in a few days

but i do have a buddy with a 900rr and that bike is running sweet
