Racing 905

I have a couple of older 905 cages on my 03-04 636's. They're in pretty good shape, but they're the older style without the frame slider insert. I need to cut out the top mount tubing (one that goes through the engine mount) and weld in a thicker tube for the inserts. Does anyone know if 905 uses 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 DOM tubing?
