1)ill give that a try I bought a torque wrench with an analog reading so I know when I stop

2)I'm sure it didn't I think it was 8 friction plates 7 steel plates

3) I'm using the oem honda 10w40oil

I'd be more inclined to thinking either 1. or 2. if it isn't something as simple as just the cable needing to be adjusted either on the top or the bottom. 3rd option for me would be it's something to do with the stack height if all the discs are there. I have seen it a couple of times that the brand new EBC discs sometimes have a low stack height even compared to a used worn clutch and the pressure plate can bottom out on the basket causing it to slip. In that case we got some slightly thicker steel plates from EBC, 2 of them to be exact, and swapped those out with two of the steels already in use. Damn tight tolerances.
Oh yea man and if you have an RSC or MSR ez-pull, or something else similar, make sure that little adjuster didn't vibrate into the clutch housing and pressing the lever. Seen that happen a couple of times. Just the small little all-thread piece with the nut on it. Here, not sure who's bike this is, but this is the adjuster thing I was talking about. I got in the habit or removing those.


I just installed a rsc today and I love it man I haven't had ur problem lately ill have to wait until tomorrow when I really practice clutching it up

Couldn't find oem so I went with these I heard oem was the way to go as well

So today I went to ride and practiced a few clutch ups and I wasn't having a problem at all but I'm sure when the bike gets really hot and after a lot of practice it will probably start slipping again ... Also I noticed a small scratching sound when it's in neutral or low idle until I start to press the clutch the sound goes away i did a little research and I read something about a spacer ring that goes with the first friction plate and there was a second ring don't exactly know if I installed them right I believe I did . I should download the service manual . Can anyone tell me If that could be a problem or what their exact purpose is?
