I just did the weldwood contact cement 2 weeks ago and boy is that ht-moto on there now. Had a ht-moto 1" lip with 3m adhesive and that shit broke off mid frogger, scared the shit outa me for reals 
. Cut the lip off and just used the ht-moto grip that was on the bottom part of the lip. After peeling off all the 3m adhesive (sucked) I applied the contact cement to JUST the grip and let it get tacky. Once tacky I applied it where the lip was and BOOM, instant adhesion with no paint degrading. Dont put that shit on paint wet, ONLY tacky and it will stick for a long ass time. Hope this helps,
