Then on the first ride after 8 months you get this
So during the rebuild I never touched the clutch or the motor at all really other than tune up shit. But the spring on the clutch arm was gone???? It worked fine before the build and I never actually saw the spring on there but whatever. No spring caused the clutch arm to drop down slightly and rub on the rod. The clutch wouldnt properly engage/ disengage so I thought it was the new cable not adjusted properly so I pretty much maxxed it out. it still lurched after I shifted into first on the last try but fuck it I was moving now and wanted to test it out so I kept going after about 45 seconds on my return back home from a trip around the block I was shifting into second and snap! It felt like the cable snapped. Got it home and had no resistance on the clutch arm. Great! Tore it down and found that. so 76 dollars later I got new parts on the way. hopefully nothing else goes wrong.
