there is actually a break in so you dont glaze the pads to where they
dont work till you take a grinder to them. Its kinda like running heat cycles, not to much at first but enough, let it cool and do it again. i normally jack it up on th kickstand if in back and turn the idle up run it on and off the brake and cycle it a few times like 3 to 5 good times of heat and let cool then heat and then fine.....but thats just my
