\nI wouldn\'t try and save the factory paint. And there\'s no powder on a f4i, the frame is electrostatically painted as are the forks and wheels, meaning that it\'s extremely thin and the same solvents you\'d use to take off the spraybomb would start working on the factory coating too, leaving it too mangled to do anything with.

\nMy advice is to wipe the tank with mek or lacquer thinner, scuff the factory clear under, and blast the rest with soda.

\nif you don\'t feel like media blasting or you just love solvents, get some towels, a five of mek and a respirator.
