that's a lot of commitment, something i'm afraid of lol. i feel like im a little old to join (21) but dam i'm just not sure, im at that awkward moment in my life where i don;t know what i want to do.
i don't know if i could stay somewhere for that long, i plan on doing my time, and maybe continue going to school for a year when i get out. i'm going for the money issue too, i've run out of what i've saved and i don't want to be strapped for cash for too much longer. what's the difference between the air force and rotc? cause they offer afrotc at the university and city i want to be in. As for the 10 year commitment, its only for Flight officers and pilots. If you want to just be an enlisted airman or any other non flying officer the commitment is only 4 or 6 years I believe so not too bad.
No bachelor= start off as enlisted airman.
Bachelors degree= start off as officer.
