\r\n \r\n im "baptist" does someone really have to attent church and be "baptist" or "catholic" to be a chistian? dont get me wrong i believe in god and read the bible not as much as i should but i do and i try to do whats best in life and a "WWJD" reminder keychain on my bike has kept me ticketless so far this season. until i was 13 years old i was under no circumstances aloud to miss church, i fully believe in the quote "treat religion like your dick, dont show it off in public and dont shove it down your childrens throats" i think i would be much closer to god if it wasnt for the fact my parents where SO strict on it when i was young. i became a chirstian cause it was my parents rules/standards not because i wanted to know more about it.. for this reason i oftan wonder if i am indeed a christian in gods eyes.. i do want to learn more about it now but when i was young it was of no worry to me.. when your 5 years old having people tell you "you never know when life will end so say this prayer or ur going to hell" not in those words but thats what it meant to me.. thats not the way to bring someone to god. in no way shape or form can you force someone to be christian.. in my case it scared me away from the "christian church life" then made me wanna be part of it. i currently dont attent chruch due to drama.. theres sooo much drama about the pasters son spliting up with his wife and now she wont come to church and he has a fit when someone from the church hung out with her and blah blah blah its a small church... everyone knows everything about everyone and i dont like it... ive been thinking of going else ware.. but im to shy to go to a church someone didnt invite me to..
