Never ending problems 06 zx6r

So I just rebuilt my trans, ran on Saturday put my new exhaust on Saturday afternoon went to start it battery dead... Put the charger to it then go to start it and the gear that goes to the crank to start it is slipping I have no clue what that could be unless the stator plays and affect with it? I may sound like a moron right now but I've spent like every penny I have just to run into another problem, and the NEW BATTERY I just bought goes dead over night again no idea what it could be

Any suggestions

All fuses are good and wired up correct, checked it over multiple times to try to narrow down the dead battery

Your stator or rectifier could be bad

I'm more on the line trying to figure out why the crank gear is moving out towards the stator cover and just free spinning instead of actually cranking the motor

Do you have a mulitmeter? If so unplug your stator plug and check to see if and of the three stator wires have continuity to ground
