I think the adapter that came with my Fti bracket is steel...if so imma order yours.

I don't know what Hohey makes I never really look into what other companies make because I just build the parts when I need them

This is going to be a real simple flat rectangular stainless steel plate with two threaded and two blind holes in it. Don't know why I didn't think of it earlier... I guess I'm just not that bright

Oh I thought you were talking about cutting and welding in a chunk into stock bracket... Oh well, at least now you have a fancy one off bracket

Adjusting chain will not affect anything... everything is based off the axle.. and distance from the axle.. that will not change only the distance the axle is from the front sprocket.

Basically you can adjust your chain all day long to any length you want and it will not affect pad contact or spacers..

ok, i see what you mean, they all move together in relation to each other...duh

this is a great idea btw whoever came up with it. im going to fab one for my 04 gix (I need a 636 already!)

So, did anyone got to try it on a 03 04 wheel?

I don't think it will work without modifying the wheel. JonnyP posted this picture, and you can see how the raised circle goes all the way around on the 03 04 wheels.



On the 05 06 it's only raised around where the bolts go. I could design some adapters for the 03 04 wheels, but I would need someone to throw a pair of calipers across that circle and give me an accurate measurement on the diameter. Or I could just do best guess and make it big, but I'd really like to have a minimum diameter to go off of. Maybe within a MM?
