do you need the plastic caps on the back of the stock headlight to work? or can u just plug wire direclty into bulb?

No you do not need those to run the headlight, Plug that shit right into the bulb. I was missing one for about 3 months on mine until i found another one.

i did plug in but i have no idea why the bulbs wont turn on

mmm you check the headlight fuse? I see you posted in johnny P thread about the headlights not working. did you try changing out the stator or rectifier? Did you try putting the left controls back on?

Try putting a test light to the headlight plugs when bike is running and see if you are getting power to them

checked the fuse, i dont have the left controls however. they got smashed slashed burnt on my headers. i havent even checked the stator or rectifier. if that was the issue wouldnt i have other electrical issues?

Idk if you would have other electrical issues but i have seen some pretty weird shit when it comes to electrical problems, I would try and narrow it down more before i swap stator unless you have a spare laying around.

Check your harness good and make sure there are no wires melted togther.

They miraculously work I plugged them into the turn signals and now they work. Fuckinwierd
