05 636 headlight - $Evan$ - 10-25-2011 do you need the plastic caps on the back of the stock headlight to work? or can u just plug wire direclty into bulb?
05 636 headlight - $Evan$ - 10-25-2011 the stupid little covers that twist on 05 636 headlight - Dan_DGAF666 - 10-25-2011 No you do not need those to run the headlight, Plug that shit right into the bulb. I was missing one for about 3 months on mine until i found another one. 05 636 headlight - $Evan$ - 10-25-2011 i did plug in but i have no idea why the bulbs wont turn on 05 636 headlight - $Evan$ - 10-25-2011 replaced them with new ones too 05 636 headlight - Dan_DGAF666 - 10-25-2011 mmm you check the headlight fuse? I see you posted in johnny P thread about the headlights not working. did you try changing out the stator or rectifier? Did you try putting the left controls back on? Try putting a test light to the headlight plugs when bike is running and see if you are getting power to them 05 636 headlight - $Evan$ - 10-25-2011 checked the fuse, i dont have the left controls however. they got smashed slashed burnt on my headers. i havent even checked the stator or rectifier. if that was the issue wouldnt i have other electrical issues? 05 636 headlight - Dan_DGAF666 - 10-26-2011 Quote:
