Both are GREAT weapons but I would def go with the XD brotha!!! If you get both use the Glock for concealed carry. SIG is awsome too.

Kahr makes some pretty sweet shit too. I really want a Para Ordinance Warthog. Don't want to spend $900 though

yeah the 1911's are beast, the glock i think would only be a nice concealed weapon as far as reliability and price. XD's features and reliability seem to be an all around better weapon for the $$.. Sig's are a little pricey for me. iv shot a 229 .40 quite a bit and imo they dont feel any differnt then an XD.. and for the price i'd pay for a sig i could rock two xd's .. i think springfield has won me over..

yeah thats the thing too.. i could drop 1200$ on a gangster piece no problem... or i could spend the 1200 on two differnt guns and get the best of both worlds... .. wouldnt mind a M4a1 hangin from the wall either tho

The only XD I have owned is the .45 & it was a FANTASTIC shooter .. all of the other XD's I shot were great as well ..

Im also a 1911 guy so I kind of favor the features on the XD .. Not saying its anything like a 1911 , just feels safe like one .

i have both glocks and an xd. and 9 times out of ten i take my xd to shoot. its just feels better in my hand that the glock. literally my thumb feels better holding the xd.

thats how I feel but......this Glock G30SF feels better in my hand. I'm ashamed of myself but its true. lol

i think the safty alone on the XD is a selling point, two little people in the house i dont want them sneekin around and blowin an ear off.. gun shows comin to town next weekend so ill be scoopin somethin for sure

the thing i like about the XD series is you can easily look at it & tell if its cocked or if there is a round chambered also.
