Newer GSXR Idle?

I used a cable from a SRAD 750. Worked perfectly.\r\n

\r\n \r\n alright, i found the trick to high idle on the 08 gsxr 600, i have an 05 and never really noticed this part on the that bike. on the 08 if you unbolt your tank, and just move to the throttle side out of the way, and look down on the clutch side right behind and below the air box on the linkage when you turn the throttle, there is a screw stiking out, (thats not it) but directly below it, there is a screw with no head, and a nut. the screw is a small ass allen, no i don\'t know the size, but the nut is an 8mm. loosen the nut, its a bitch cause there is no fucking room for you hands. we used a 1/4 inch ratchet and socket. its fairly easy to turn. just remove with your fingers. then i used the small allen wrench for a few minutes before resorting to needle nose pliers on that damn screw! here is the best part!!! i had bought a idle cable for a 954 for the 05, well it fits perfectly where that damn screw was! anyway, i know this thread is worthless with out photos, but you can\'t hardly see whats in there with your eyes, so good luck, and i am amazed that this fits! its not really the idle as much as a throttle stop, but it works awesome! sorry to blow up the site, with this long ass post!

I’ve had many bikes over the years... but nothing newer than 04.
So I picked up a "damaged" 07 gsxr 600 a few weeks ago (low sided) and finally rode it around the block. I couldn't get the idle to stay in one spot like my 636. Before I left the garage I would set the idle at 3500 to 4k (in gear clutch pulled in). While riding I would let off the throttle and every time it would drop to under 2k.
Any tricks to keep it from going so low?
Or is it in the gsxr programing?
