adjusting secondary butterflies on 03-04 636 - ATL Darrick - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n i def. want to try another ecu. i know the one off my old bike did the same thing to these butterflies. but i never rode the bike w my old ecu in. the crazy thing is, my old bike had these exact same symptoms to the T. bike ran solid just had weak pull. then buy a new bike with totally different parts and it does the same thing. threw a bunch of parts at it and still does the same thing no fix......getting so frustrated. \r\n \r\n \r\nOMR remember you tellin me that our bikes love restricted air flow and backpressure? well if these butterflies are staying open just the slightest bit more than they\'re supposed to then i got a vacuum leak. And then when i crack the throttle its fine cause those flies should open then anyways. its just wierd that 2 different tb\'s are doing the exact same thing, which would mean itws not the tb\'s and the only other thing linked to that subthrottle sensor which controls the top butterflies is the ecu.\r\n adjusting secondary butterflies on 03-04 636 - ADBZ Matt - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n [QUOTE=ATL Darrick;768199]i def. want to try another ecu. adjusting secondary butterflies on 03-04 636 - ATL Darrick - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n my butterflies got me lookin like that kid\r\n adjusting secondary butterflies on 03-04 636 - old man roger - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n \r\n but i would think as soon as you turn the idle up the secondaries would open a little but i guess if the are open too much that could cause the weak idle Quote: \r\n

adjusting secondary butterflies on 03-04 636 - ADBZ Matt - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n \r\n \nBoth his and my idle were adjusted to the same RPM... Not to mention we compared the bikes while they were off, and just turned the key to the on position to see where the butterflies would rest.Quote: \r\n
\n \nMine would close all the way and his would close 99% of the way leaving a 3mm air leak... My bike pulls on idle great\r\n adjusting secondary butterflies on 03-04 636 - old man roger - 08-13-2026 \r\n \r\n \r\n right i get that i was just responding to what he was saying about them opening when he hit the throttle because turning up the idle is the same as opening the throttle\r\n
