Totally forgot bout getting a loan, so i can go out and buy a nice looking bike.\n
\njust to clear anything up. Im looking to be riding this thing EVERY DAY! so reliability is a big factor. Which is why a lot of jap MX 450\'s went out the window for me. Sure they are nice, powerful bikes, but not looking to do a rebuild very often on one.\r\n

\r\n \r\n i wouldnt take a loan out for a bike personally...im not sure how many times u can get approved of a loan that much but i would hold out for a house with a loan....thats much more importan then a bike!!! maybe try and get a $5,000 limit credit card\r\n

\r\n \r\n If you just turned 18 chances are you will not get approved for a bike loan unless you have a co sign. Also you state reliabilty is your issue with not getting a jap bike but what is gonna have better reliabilty than a jap bike? A ktm or husky? I don\'t think so plus its harder to find parts and takes a lot longer to get them. If you want a dd everyday reliable bike drz400 or wr.\r\n

\r\n \r\n You guys are funny...Do we stunt 600s coz they are crazy fast and powerful or do we stunt them coz they have enough power to clutch up and are lighter than a 1000?...Same thing goes for a 450 SM..You dont need that much power to do what we do and it makes them super unreliable compared to a 250..

just curious, what bike did you start out on when first learning to stunt??? how long have you been in the game???\r\n

I can see both sides of the argument on the 250vs450. If your gonna be in the lot with the thing and the occasional street ride in the city the 250 would be the shit. I think if you are riding the thing everywhere and everyday the added power of the 450 is nice and it helps you from getting blown around on the highway a little bit.\r\n

\r\n \r\n oh and you want to compare 600\'s to 1000\'s and 250\'s to 450\'s....well let me ask you this...why do you need a 4piston caliper when a single piston does the job...your answer will probably be like the rest of the answers i\'ve seen, its better to have more braking power!!! the extra brake wouldnt hurt right, well same with a 450...more power more speed....it does the same thing a 250 does u right, but the extra speed wouldnt hurt

Single piston is junk and slows the tire down while a 4 piston will lock/slide the tire.\r\n

i see people lockin up with single pistons!!! hell i see people crushin it on a single piston (adapter not even dual cal) so again why do people need 4,8, or 10 pistons to do what a single piston can do Quote:
