So I wound up catching my boys pretty good when I had to come down in a hurry and just want to see if im the only one that has done this. Or maybe its a tall person thing? But I actually wound up breaking one of them. So now that its nice and warm outside and I was starting to get some little drifts in, Ill be out for month of recovery.

 removing wheel bearings?
Posted by: PoltArt - 03-18-2013, 05:16 PM - Forum: Help and How To - Replies (29)

I want to get my F4i rims powdercoated and the guy said he needs me to remove everything on my own. SO I wanted to see if anyone knows an easy way to remove the bearings and whatnot from the rim without buying the special tool for the job? I would like to be able to reuse them as well so it would be nice to go with a safe way.

 Motorcycle Stunt Event Insurance
Posted by: likemikey69 - 03-15-2013, 05:58 PM - Forum: Events and Competitions - Replies (2)

I'm sorry if this isn't the right category to ask this but I felt it was the most suitable. Do you guys know or recommend any insurance companies that will cover motorcycle stunt shows? A lot of the insurance companies I spoke with said they only cover "static" displays which means stunting is out of the question.

 2005 Yamaha R6
Posted by: DirtyGeorge - 03-14-2013, 03:37 PM - Forum: For Sale - Bikes - Replies (4)

So - I'm really ready to give this bike up for now - I'm taking offers on it, i may get back in some day, but right now I'm just not riding this bike anymore - it should go to someone who will use it!

over $3k invested in parts - she's a tank - pulls hard - lots of power set up RIGHT!

A- Town Customs crash cage, A- Town Customs steel subframe w/ 12 bar AND A- Town Customs subcage/frame brace, Vortex Racing rearsets and 65 tooth rear sprocket, Sick Innovations fully adjustable clip ons with Converti bar clamps, 2007 Yamaha R6V front forks, rotors and calipers, Sick Innovations custom tail saver, C4 Revolutions upper fairing stay and rear foot plate, Brembo master cylinder handbrake with Hohey Designs big rotor kit, HT MOTO wrap on the footplate, tailsaver, and gas tank for more controlled drifts, bunny hops and stoppies, a very well maintained motor (work in a shop, very frequent oil changes and necessary maintenance), shorty Righteous Stunt Clutch perch and lever, Damage Control Parts radiator cage, Yoshimura slip - on exhaust, BMC racing reusable air filter, steel braided brake lines front and rear. Extra parts include: a spare parts motor, fresh gas tank, radiators, fans, passenger pegs, seats, more fairings, extra wheels, ecu, throttle bodies, and a ton of other miscellaneous parts.

salvage title for frame
theft recovery title for motor
all together - 2 titles
you can figure out what you have to do in your state to get it on the road - in MD you can put a salvage on the road - I mainly used it in the lot

only issue is the bike could use a paint job/fresh fairings - mechanically bike is sound.

asking $4000 w/ extra parts
$3750 for just the bike

willing to trade for awd manual car or harley/cruiser (not junk!)

Sorry for the multiple threads - I don't get on SR much anymore and this new layout confuses me lol
