Hey,

First of all I'm from the Netherlands so my English is a little bit broken...

For a while I have been stunting a R6 from 2005 (RJ095). I did the clean air mod like this:

But my bike keeps smoking like hell when I park it on my bar. Is this method of clean air wrong? And so yes, what is the proper way to do the clean air mod on a R6?

Well I was making a 12 bar and tail saver and for some reason i was like let me bolt it up to see if it's straight. Well I did and it's fuckin off to the left from looking at the back of the bike. Idk it's close and everything bolts up just looks like the tire would hit the passenger peg bolt holes on the right side? Anyway is there a way to pull it to the right to straighten it just need some ideas. In these pics u can't really tell it's not off a lot. Just tweeked to the left a little I think or mayby I'm bugging out lol.

2005 zx6r 636....snapped front fender right off coming down from a wheelie. There is not much clearance between my front headlight fairing and fender cause i dropped forks to move clip-ons to the top of tripple. That was working decent (although it was still hitting fender off wheelies). I welded an L shaped bracket from my stunt stay to go under the headlight to give headlight good support.
Now i don't have enough clearance and am currently running with no front fender. Well, half of the fender is still there.
Prob gonna shorten L-bracket cause i dont wanna move clip-ons. They're perfect on top of the triple. Also i had dirt bars on it and wasn't for me.
And by the way, its a 315 Stunt Shop Stay that i just modified. The stay is great, but i think that lowering my forks 2" is main problem. Wanna keep headlight fairing for street, but im beating it up in the lot.
Any suggestions? Comments? How is your 06 636 stunt stay and fairing set up? Also i'm looking for a blue front fender.

I got a stock f4i with about 20k miles. I changed the oil 1000 miles ago.

Yesterday I began hearing a loud squealing/screeching noise from the left side (sprocket side) of the motor any time I had the engine under load. Any mild acceleration sounded like nails on a chalkboard. Even while letting the clutch out with no throttle input. This noise could be heard in any gear. The sound doesn't happen in neutral.

It can't be the clutch plates because it will happen with the clutch fully engaged & the sound is coming from the other side of the motor.

It can't be the bottom or top end of the motor since it doesn't happen in neutral.

It sounds like it could be coming from the front sprocket area, but it's hard to tell for sure.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? It sounds like an obnoxious rusty gate opening and closing. I've never heard it before.

The back of my r6 fan is hitting the cam sensor on the front of the head on my 636 motor (03-04 head)

Details: Okay, so I have an 05 radiator on my 03. I'm using the DCP radiator cage that's supposed to fit the 05 radiator, but has 03 mounts. I had to drop the top frame mounts about an inch lower because the rad cage was hitting the bottom triple, but I think it is because I have a steel frame. (or maybe I was mistakenly sent a standard 05 mount from dcp) So anyway,, I ran this all last season with no problems. Texas is hot so I decided to get a second fan. I ordered a light gray r6 fan because I had the mount for it that came with my rad cage.

Turns out this 2nd fan doesn't fit. The fan motor is hitting my cam sensor.

Here the radiator is attached at the bottom, and you can see how far off the radiator is from the top mounts because it's hitting the cam sensor plug.

Here is the cam sensor's factory position.

I tried turning the cam sensor 90 at a time and found one position where the sensor wouldn't hit the fan. (The retaining clip that holds the cam sensor in place makes it impossible to rotate the sensor any less than 90 at a time) Unfortunately, it looks like this position puts these wires dangerously close to the header. what do you guys think?

If no one here can help me figure something out, I'm going to toss this fan in the trash.

Built a couple of 636's, so this isnt my first time. I took a motor out of a mint bike a couple months back to put in my stunt bike, me and a buddy (who has rebuilt TONS of 636 motors) put a bottom end that was good with a top end that was good together. Its timed right, its got spark, its getting fuel, 120+ compression on all cylinders (a bit low, but should still run), cranks over just fine, but will start.
We are stumped. Nothing has been modified or changed, and the bike ran when I rode it home back in November. Checked all obvious sensors, crank, cam, etc (even though it wouldnt spark if those were broken). Rechecked the timing......any ideas of something we may not have checked?
