Is so boring. Was there from 12-5, now sitting in the Marriot lobby about to go back to my room. Its pretty sweet though, I got alot of free food. Got to get up at 4:30 in the morning though to go back to MEPS and get all my physical shit done :/, Oh well its all worth it in the long run. I swear into the Air Force tomorrow.

I have a friend that just went through all that. He just swore in to the air force to. They told him anytime from now and march he could ship out for boot camp so hes partying it up till then. Good luck.

get use to it homie, thats 80% of the military.....hurry up and wait. quick word of advice too, take everything with a grain of salt. AF is a wise carreer choice, if i could do it all over again i'd have gone AF

Ya man I found that out today. They would rush us through everything, we go to the Command Desk, and then sit for a couple hours. But I got it all over with, and I officially swore in today. I got to pick my 4 jobs too.

1. Vehicle And Vehicle Equipment Repair
2. Aircraft Hydraulics
3. Electrical Systems
4. Communications- Computer Programming

our pre jump manifest started 8 hours before we actually exited the aircraft, never understood why we had to be at green ramp for 8 hours for a 2 min drop lol. jumping is the only thing i miss about active duty

MEPS boring how? When i went i spent the whole day drunk from the night before... The key to MEPS is food, booze, and findin a chick or 2 or 3 who is gonna sign her life away too, to spend the night with... MEPS 2 of the best nights ever...
