getting the most out of throttle cables
#1
working on my clipon setup on my 954rr and running into an issue with the throttle cable being a bit short when turning full lock to the left. im wondering if there is a way to get the most length out of the cable because i really dont need much....i removed the airbox to get to the adjustment at the throttle bodies but i really dont know what im doing when it comes to the actual adjustment. i messed around with it and it seems like this setting is the best i can get it..i forgot where the threads sat when i first got to it so idk if i even did anything lmao..is this the most i can get out of the cables (with the adjustment by the throttle assembly turned all the way in)? or am i way off lol.

and by the way i am running the cables underneath the triple and around to the throttle like how stock is...i dont see a better way to reroute them

I have 929 cables on my f4i, running fat tag bars/risers & hohey triple. Plenty of extra room. They're 2-3inches longer then the stock f4i, not sure about 954. I would have thought they would be the same.

Do you know of any other manufacturers of throttle cables, I couldn't find my 05 636 on motion pros site.

I'm running adjustable clip ons and they aren't long enough to go through the forks so locked to the right there's a nasty bend in the cables. Any 05-06 636 guys run into the same problem?

just call motion pro im willin to bet they have your cables and can make any length you want. if they do not you can ship yours in to them and they will make them specific for anything you desire. there the only ones i know of who make cables off hand
