so i picked up a sub and amp today for my car. ill be building the box this weekend hopefully and getting it in. Im reading the manual and its pretty confusing. Im using my stock head unit and some people are telling me i need an loc and some are saying i dont.

i want to bridge two channels and have 400w rms going to the sub
im confused as to if i just tap into the rear speaker wires for signal? and since its just one sub do i need signal from both sides of car? if youve done this can you please give me a little walk through
