I'm kind of in the same boat. I can get it up, but I can't keep it up. Wind up just chasing them out. I was doing that in 1/2, now I'm doing it in 2/3. I know how to get it higher, but with not having a cage I'm just worried about laying it down and breaking shit. Like last time. Solution seems to be simple, just keep adding more and more throttle every time, higher it'll get. That's what I've been doing anyway, but what do I know?
EDIT: I was doing it on stock sprocket before, and it took more gas than I was expecting because I didn't want to yank up on it. Now I've got a bigger sprocket so. Point is, maybe you're just not expecting the amount of throttle it'd take on a stock sprocket? Iono. I'm a big mother fucker too so that had something to do with my situation as well.

I could balance out stock with only one down in front on my kawi at about 17-20 mph balanced.... def took a handful of gas and a healthy stomp on the rear brake to keep her from flipping on the pick up.... also after full throttle def drop it back down to where you need it to just keep the front end up... try slowly and go for 2 feet then go from there so you don't wreck... also do not look at your rpms... they don't make wheelies, you do... they will still be there when your done with the wheelie...
