Seat Standers
#1
I've been trying seat standers lately.... they're coming along, but does anyone else get sick wobble? I've only been doing them in second gear clutching it at around 30...

on a normal wheelie i generally ride it balanced at about 40mph, but these I don't get very close to bp and they're wobbly... which is what keeps me from getting them any higher i think....

any general seat stander advice would be appreciated.

what's your tire pressure? that could have a small part in it.

I'm thinking it's your throttle control. If you're the least bit twitchy with the throttle, the bike will wobble...especially at higher RPMs.

i think i'm in the ballpark of 20 psi. and i may be a bit twitchy on the throttle... on standups i'm super smooth, but when i try other things i tend to get twitchy due to the uncertainty of a new trick... i'll just have to practice.

practice should help a lot. I can fix the wobbles with using the HB but it's a cop-out, I need to work on smoother throttle also.

i'd definitely be alot less fearful with a HB... like i said though, I'm super smooth normally, just can't smooth out the SS yet.

i don't want to get a HB really... i think it would help my confidence though... now that i've somewhat learned the brake, i can slow down wheelies and all that good jazz, but i also hold light pressure on the brake even at bp... i just need a little more smoothness and i'll be set, i'm getting better everyday.

I used mine as a crutch because I was scared of looping, I got mine way early and it didn't help at all.
