Contour roam 1600 help?

I gotta contour roam 1600 that was given to me, but I cannot figure out how to get the vids onto the computer. I have everything I need to, when I connect the cam/memory chip to the computer, something like 'Removable Disk (J: )' pops up, no option to save or view, I don't even see the vid there.

Any help would be great

If you do not see anything in the folder chances are there is nothing on the camera. Is there an SD card or anything in that camera? Or does it go to a on board hard drive?

yea it has a card, and it said it was recording when I was using it.

Friend told me I may not have the right program downloaded onto my computer, is that possible? I gotta Windows XP if that helps

You should be able to read the card through your operating system.

Did you try popping the card out and using a card reader?

Yes...just pop out the card and use a reader. Otherwise you have to download contours free editing program in order to go through the camera.

I tried both, I had a USB cord from the camera to the computer, then tried it from a card reader to the computer, didn't make a difference.

Can I find the download for it online?
