anyone else find it odd...

Trayvon Martin killed, Obama announces on national TV he wants an investigation. Fast and Furious lets firearms purchased in USA to walk across the Mexican border, without any notification to Mexican officials, resulting in the deaths of 2 USA Border Patrol agents and many Mexican civilians. Obama wants to put a stop to any investigations into the matter.

I also find it odd that the executive priviledge only pertains to documents between the President and his cabinet, yet in 2011 the Obama administration denied F&F's very existence.
